Hello, friends and followers,
I've decided to focus my efforts on a different blog, and have this redirect to it so you can view all of my upcoming projects, and not just my series: "At Last."
I hope you enjoy the new design and updates about new ideas
Thanks for your continued support,
~Anngela

Random Thoughts....
Wow...random thoughts....
-Waiting with baited breath to hear from Rachel
-Trying to determine if I should bust the whole book back out in 3rd person
-Trying to convince my husband that we need to go to Paris so I can work on another book
-Playing matchmaker (a modern day Emma, that's me! Where's Mr. Knightly?)
-Falling asleep typing, but my little ones are in bed, so I do what I can, when I can!!!!!
-Getting ready for Easter tomorrow
------How much does it bother me that it's now "Spring Break" and not "Easter Vacation?"
Almost finished grading so I'll continue with At Last's sequel this coming week. :)
Nighty Night, everyone!

Now That that's Done...
So I've sent off my manuscript to the agent who requesteed it, and have my fingers crossed. I, of course, did one more 'once over' of the entire book, and was able to significantly trim off excess which didn't impact the story of Emma and Warner at all. I lost about 50 pages, or 12,000 words. It was liberating. :)
I am also excited to say that now that my book is 100% dialed in, I am focusing on the sequel, "At Last We're Getting Married." I'm very pumped and hope that Rachel LOVES the book and characters as much as I do (and you, as well, my fabulous followers!).

Watch Out for the Flying Pigs! :)
So, exciting news! I had an agent request my full manuscript! How elated am I? So, this has been a GREAT day! I just wanted to let you all know. Keep your fingers, eyes, and toes crossed for me. I'll keep you updated. :)

Changes to Chapter #1
Some of you might have noticed that I took chapter 1 off the site. I'm working on the revisions, and wanted to not put up less than perfect work. :) (I thought it was perfect, but a few agents told me it needed adjustments.)

Love is in the Air...
So you are looking at an official member of The Romance Writers of America! :) How fun is that? It's a national organization where I'll be able to network with other writers and get some great feedback on my projects. I'm also excited because once my membership card comes in, I can join the local Sacramento chapter. Talk about good times. :)
I'm also excited to say that I am progressing quickly on the requested revisions from the agents and publisher I met at the SDSU writer's conference.
Thanks for all your support and encouragement. Keep your fingers crossed.

SDSU Writing Conference-2009
It was a wonderful weekend. Susan and I made it for the opening reception and met some interesting characters right off the bat. But, it was alot of fun. We had a great morning Saturday. The agent I specifically went to meet gave me some great tips and encouragement. She said she remembered my previoius submission and that I had a very strong voice and was a strong story teller.
I met another agent who encouraged me to submit to her as well, and found an editor that I clicked well with. Hopefully all will work out, and things will progress.
